Companhia do Latão - O Mundo Está Cheio de Nós

"O Mundo Está Cheio de Nós." Follow the journey of Valéria Dim, a prostitute from the Liberdade neighborhood, as she moves between the city's richest and poorest neighborhoods, her emotional encounters and disagreements, and her nonconformity with the standards of the human market. The performance takes place on Saturday, the 16th, at 7 p.m., on the stage of the Sesc Santos Theater.

"The World Is Full of Us" is a show presented in unconventional spaces. It premiered at the Flávio Império Theater and toured the outskirts of São Paulo. It is a popular show, with live music, whose set design is a small theater-circus, with elements that expose the performance itself for performance. It was conceived to be performed in alternative spaces, preferably outdoors. The production features 9 actors and 3 musicians (bass, guitar, keyboard, percussion, accordion).

The script is loosely inspired by the film "Nights of Cabiria," by Federico Fellini (written in partnership with Pier Paolo Pasolini) and images from poems by Bertold Brecht. The play by Companhia do Latão is a kind of ironic panorama (which includes a reflection on the artist's own condition) of the world of exchange in the city of São Paulo, where hope and despair duel as religiosity, precarious work, and violence merge in the imaginary of the streets.
