Tropikaô is not a band, but rather a collective of music producers, bringing together inventiveness as a working tool. With elements of electronic and acoustic music, combined with regional flavors and trip-hop culture, the collective seeks not only to be an audiovisual experience, but also a vehicle for artistic activism. Our language arises precisely from this plurality, whether in the cities of São Paulo and Fortaleza, bringing together their beauties and flaws, or in the blend of sound, image, and their possibilities, or in the musical construction itself, in the combination of melody and glitch. Tropikaô is our impression/expression of the world, from a tropical perspective.
